Is Monash a good university?
Yeah. I don’t go there but I have many friends that do. It’s got a good reputation. Most of the universities in Australia are decent. What you need to know is the location. For instance Monash has a few different campuses. In Melbourne there is one in Caulfield which is an inner city suburb and close to the city and there are others (Clayton and Gippsland for instance) which are waaay further out and involves a lot of commuting, so if you want to live close to the city go to the former, if you want to commute a lot or live in a far out suburb or town (personally I don’t like this) go for the latter. So look carefully at location. And also check… Masters in what? Different unis are particulary good at different things. I think Monash in Caulfield is good at business. Anyway, most of the uni’s are pretty good.
