It is probably one of the most livable metropolitan areas in the United States. Greater Minneapolis has about 3 million people and is the 16th largest metro area in the country. It has numerous colleges and universities, art, restaurants and culture. It is rich in recreation and entertainment, with parks, lakes and trails for walking, biking, and skiing in wintertime. It has national teams in all big US sports. The university has a brand new football stadium that also is a concert stadium. It has a fabulous concert hall downtown Minneapolis, other music halls, entertainment, art museums, theaters and excellent dining. In downtown Minneapolis and in St. Paul, stores, restaurants, museums, shopping malls, department stores, movie theaters, and the concert hall are connected via skywalks. You can get almost anywhere.
