Is Millwall the most violent part of London?
Millwall is not an area, it’s a football team in Bermondsey Southwark. It’s the train stop before London Bridge which is where all the City Boys alight to work in the financial district. No part of London is inherently violent. Most violence in London is drug and gang related and usually only affects the youths who are involved. There is usually trouble anywhere that there are large estates or pockets of poor people who are dissatisified with their life and have lost hope. Camberwell, Peckham, Hackney, Elephant and Castle, Walworth, Brixton all have these large estates but the chances of you being a victim are not high. If you are sensible and don’t hang around at night on your own, look after your belongings and keep them out of sight, London is a safe place to live and work.
