Is Microtherm® expensive?
Microtherm® is the world’s leading high temperature thermal insulation. It out performs most alternative insulation materials by a factor of at least 3 – 4. This means that the thickness of Microtherm® required in an application is proportionally that much less. The savings come in size and weight and simplified design of assemblies. Microtherm® might only seem expensive when compared with conventional insulation materials. The “value in use”, however, of Microtherm® against alternative insulation materials available normally provides the justification for it to be specified.
