Is Microsoft Vista Professional Operating system compatible with Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007?”

I couldn’t imagine that it wouldn’t be compatible anyway, but you’re smart to ask these days. According to the wise folks at Microsoft, the 2007 Microsoft Office Enterprise is fine on Windows XP SP2 and all later operating systems, which certainly would include your flavor of Vista. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/HA101668651033.aspx Even if it did have a problem, and I’m sure it won’t, you do have the ability in Vista to set the compatibility mode on an application by application basis which would leave you covered anyway. Hope that helps!

Yes, they are compatible. I can understand the confusion, as there is an Enterprise version of Vista as well, but you don’t need that version to run Office 2007 Enterprise; in fact, you can run it on XP SP2 (any version) and on any version of Vista. Here is the lowdown, straight from the horse’s mouth: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/HA101668651033.aspx#8 “To use Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, you will need: 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher 2 gigabyte (GB) free disk space; a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive. Enterprise just means it has EVERYTHING, it isn’t limited to a specific version of Windows. You can use any of the Office packages on XP (with SP2) and Vista. Make sure you uninstall the trial version before you install the real version, as I have seen weird issues on systems that have trial versions running along side real versions.
