Is Microsoft Publisher classed as a graphics program?

0

It’s a Desk Top Publisher. That means you can create articles, pamphlets, etc with pictures; but you can’t draw pictures in it. You can’t create drawings in it. However, if you are in to graphics, sometimes you can use it for certain things, such as changing the format of a drawing so it prints better. None the less, it is a desk top publishing program, not a graphic arts program. A graphic arts program is a program in which you can create drawings as oppose to simply cutting and pasting or adding existing pictures. Adobe, CrorelDraw, and photo shops programs are graphic programs cause you can draw and edit images. Even programs used by architects are graphic programs because they make designs on them.
