Outlook and Office outlook Web Access are the only supported programs for accessing NDSU Outlook system. Use of these two applications ensures compatibility, appropriate functionality and security for the system. Some programs (e.g., iCal, Entourage and Mail on Macintosh OS X 10.6 [Snow Leopard] and later) have the ability to connect to NDSU Outlook, but the functionality – especially calendaring – is significantly limited. Office Outlook Web Access is the Web Client. Full functionality is available using Microsoft Internet Explorer; a robust but “lite” version of NDSU Outlook appears when using Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome browsers.
