Is micro or drip irrigation exempt from restrictions?
Micro-watering and low-volume drip systems can continue to be used — as long as they are installed under the plant canopy to provide water directly to roots, and are used only when needed by the plants. In addition, the systems must NOT produce any runoff. Watering cans are also considered low-volume, and can be used at any time.
