Is metlife a reliable name?
1. Metlife is a reliable name & your investment (minus charges) will be safe, but will subject to market fluctuation if any equity related plan. All insurance companies are known for heavy frontloaded charges & metlife is not an exeption. 2. Your investment will be locked for minimum 3 years so forget about getting back in months. Also as I said that all investments are subject to heavy charges in first 3 years, my calculation in all the plans is that you will not get back the invested amount in 3-4 years, forget return. Insurance is not an investment. For investment , choose good mutual fund or other bank instruments. Please do not believe if someone promise you more then 10-15% return. Initially various fraud finance companies promised high return & get away with investors money. Now this is part 2 of that fraud in which these insurance companies have discovered a legal way to take part of your money backed by their aggrasive marketing & misleading ads.
