Is metal polish dangerous when accidentally applied on wound?

0

Since you didn’t know you had a wound, I’m guessing it’s a small one, yes? In which case even if the metal polish was dangerous, not enough would have gotten into the wound to harm you. Different metal polishes have different ingredients and compositions. Look at the can, or bottle, whatever it’s in. If it’s harmful there will be a “Warning!” section saying what to do if you inhale it, get it in your eyes, get it on your skin, swallow it, etc. In most cases the instructions for skin are flush the area with cold water for several minutes. After you do that, just put some cream and a band-aid on your wound and you should be fine.
