Is Mepore Pro moisture-proof?
The backing film on Mepore Pro has been proven moisture-proof as long as undamaged. However if there are creases between the dressing and the skin, there might be a risk for soaking the wound pad when taking a shower, leading to a need for dressing change. In order to achieve optimal adhesion to the skin it is important not to stretch the dressing at application. Firmly smooth the adhesive border onto the skin to obtain proper adhesion.
