Is Meerkat Manor worth watching or is it a bit of a bore?
I love every moment of “Meerkat Manor”, whether it’s the umpteenth time I’ve seen it or not. Can we actually tell one from the other? That’s very unlikely. Do we realize that they can be savage little creatures? Yes, we do. But, they make me giggle madly as they “war dance”, and the babies are adorable. Sean Astin’s narration has been commended. The music is especially good. Heck! I’d buy a “Meerkat Manor” soundtrack! The new series is one I tried once and found truly boring. Orangutans are not high on my list of watchables. Actually, scarcely any monkey or ape is. I’ve loved meerkats since I was introduced to their behavior in Jamie Uys’ “Animals Are Beautiful People”. As long as they rerun “MM”, I’ll be a faithful viewer, giggling just as much as the first time I laid eyes on the feisty critters.
