Is medicine in El Salvador better than in other countries that are promoting medical travel?
Medical care in is excellent. The medical system in has much in common with that of the U.S. and Canada. Many excellent English-speaking doctors and specialists in have studied or trained in these countries. Canadian and European medical consultants lead government regulatory activities. Several hospitals have received, or have applied for, certification by the US Joint Commission International (JCI), an assurance of the same standards that American hospitals are required to meet.
