Is MEChA just a Latino group?
Although MEChA focuses on the needs of the Chicano/Latino community, we welcome all students who are interested in issues of social justice, educational equity, and cultural awareness. MEChA is not just a group for Mexicanos. Chicano is a politically inclusive term that extends to all Latino students be they mexicanos, centroamericanos, sudamericanos, or caribeos.
