Is MDMA supposed to look like crystals?
Pure MDMA is crystals. Like very tiny shards or powder. If thoroughly rinsed in the final stage of production it will be pure white, but can also be somewhat brownish in color if it was just washed once. Anything that is in pill form is cut with other ingredients to make the pill cheaper as well as create a binder so the whole thing sticks together.
