Is McDonalds ice cream in Australia gluten free?

Gluten is not necessary in Ice Cream. Most Ice Cream doesn’t have it, only the ones with malt flavour or cookie crumbs and specialty chocolate bar pieces added do. Chapman’t will even label their container as being Gluten Free on the ones that are. The stuff they serve at fast food places is usually the soft ice cream and they sometimes have malt flavour in them. You will have to ask permission to read the label on the package that they put in the machine to make it. If you have Celiac, this is quite important. I wish all restaurants would label their products clearly so people with in-tolerances can eat without worry. They do it for peanuts, why not for gluten? Now just to be safe, make sure each visit is questioned for gluten, cause they may change their product at any time.
