Is Mcafee A Better Virus Checker Than Norton?
Norton is the worst because if you try to get rid of it, it leaves files in your system unless you use a special tool to uninstall it. McAfee is still really bad, I know a company that lost a lot of money because they got a virus while using it. The free Antivirus programs are better because they have dedicated volunteers, rather than people waiting to clock out, working on them. Avast is good, and very easy to use. AVG is slightly better than Avast as far as detection goes but it’s a little harder to use. Avira Antivir is the best detection and prevention (due to it’s heuristics), but it is the most complicated to use. All three programs are free but I recommend Avira. It may be the most hard to use of them all but it’s still not that hard to use, and it’s the best Antivirus I’ve ever used. I hope this helps.
