Is MBE equals MA Economics?
MA Economics and MBE are primarily for people who want to be practicing economists while PHD’s are research based. Many employers require PHD’s for senior positions so you can get the PHD and attempt to start at a higher position, or get the Masters and work sooner. I think the MBE is less emphasis on economics with a little more emphasis on other aspects of business, like marketing or management. So, if you want to be a manager quicker after school a PHD or MBE would be better, but if you want to focus on economics more the MAE might be better. I haven’t looked at the MBE too much though so I might be off a little.
