Is Mayer Brothers Cider Pasteurized?

0

Yes, Definitely! For years before the FDA demanded it, we’ve been pasteurizing out products, using flash pasteurization. We currently use two types of pasteurization. For our cider, we use flash pasteurization, in which we heat the cider to 165F for 15 seconds and then immediately chill it to below 40F. For our other Apple juice products, we pasteurize at 185-190F and fill our bottles at this temperature. The product is then slowly cooled to form a vacuum packed product.
