Is Matt Pilgrim about to become a Kentucky Wildcat?
Brian Eldridge is reporting on Scout.com that Matt Pilgrim’s name has surfaced as a possible basketball transfer to the University of Kentucky. Additionally, a source said that he visited the campus today, but I have not been able to confirm that. On top of that, speculation is rampant on chat boards in Kentucky that Pilgrim is a potential transfer and that he has visited the campus. Sounds like a lot of fire with this smoke. If this is true, the news should break within the next day or so. I think anyone who saw him play during his two seasons at Hampton University understands he has the talent to help out on that level if he lives up to his potential, although I can’t see him starring there. But he is a big, big IF at that level. He didn’t even start half the games for Hampton this season.
