Is Mastilep like Wisprac/Diclofenac gel/Iodex etc.?
A. No, these agents are mainly anti-inflammatory thus they only reduce the swelling & pain but do not treat the disease. They are the agents that provide only the symptomatic relief. Mastilep works by strengthening the udder immune barrier (1st & 2nd line of defence) by virtue of which disease is controlled and the recurrence is prevented. Also Mastilep is having broadspectrum antimicrobial action which other products don’t have.
