Is Massage or Osteopathic treatment covered by private health insurance, WorkCover or Motor Accident Authority?
Yes, Osteopathic treatment is covered under all the above and remedial massage is covered by most major private health funds For private health insurance, it forms part of your ancillary or extras cover and the rebate will vary depending on your level of cover. HICAPS is also available for all Osteopathic treatment, whilst HICAPS claims are only available for massage with some private health funds.
