Is Mary Kay Letourneau still married to her once under-aged boyfriend?
Mary Kay Letourneau began a sexual relationship with her then 13 year old student in 1996 when she was 34 years old. After her husband learned of the relationship, he reported her to the authorities and eventually she went to jail for statutory rape. In 1997 Letourneau gave birth to a baby girl while she was in prison, Audrey Lokelani Fualaau. Although she was released early for good behavior, she violated the terms of her parole by meeting with, and having relations with, Fualaau, and she was returned to jail in 1998. During her second stay in prison, she gave birth to a second baby by Fualaau, a baby girl named Alexis Fualaau. Letourneau was released from prison in 2004, and two days after her release Fualaau requested that the order restricting their contact be lifted, as he was now over 21 years of age.
