Is Marxism Eurocentric?

Another example of the “eurocentricity” of Marxism is the failure of so many left groups in the US and (mainly) Britain to comprehend the significance of the pan Latin American fight back against neoLiberalism and the new rise in revolution there. A standard denigration of Cuba for these sources is that the revolution isn’t real because no “soviets” exist there. However, I think there is an earlier reference point that parallels the work of key LA figures like Marti, and that’s the approach pursued by Ho Chi Minh and his collaborators whose strategic initiatives were very clearly anti-imperialist and dedicated to creating an indigenous Marxism in practice (but with little theoretical work to reference).
