IS MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER TRIED AND TESTED?
Yes! Marriage Encounter has a proven record of consistent success; in nearly forty years, more than three million couples have attended. The concept was originally developed in Spain by Father Gabriel Calvo and has now spread to many countries around the globe. Weekends help couples discover each other as best friends and lovers and explore the great potential for joy and growth in their marriage. Couples of all denominations who have been married at least one year are welcome. WHAT HAPPENS ON A MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER WEEKEND? In the company of other couples striving to build better marriages, you will spend a quiet, all-expense-paid weekend concentrating on each other for 48 hours: no phone calls, no children, no jobs, no interruptions.
