Is Marion Jones completely despicable or a bad person?
Along with the drug use, perjury, obstructing a federal investigation, did she say the check fraud scam was a mistake too. She understood what she was doing and continued to lie to cover up her actions. If you are an honest person you should try to correct your mistakes when you realize what you have done is wrong. She harmed many people and the sport that made her famous and rich. I am sure she understands the difference between a mistake and her actions, but I do not know if she will accept the fact she was wrong on if she will rationalize her actions so she can justify it.
