Is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao the best boxer off all time?
I’am a Filipino and a Pacquiao fan. And to be realistic, I think Manny is around Top 25-21 right now. I can name 20 fighters above Manny right now. The legacies of these fighter are underrated due to the fact that we don’t live in their eras and as well as not having enough information about their opponents, which were also considered tough opponents in their time. Here are the few I know who is greater than Manny for now: Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard Harry Greb Sam Langford Rocky Marciano Archie Moore Benny Leonard Tony Canzoneri Ezzard Charles Willie Pep If Pacquiao beats Floyd convincingly, I have Manny around Top 10 or 9th. Because if he did that, that is almost equivalent of Manny wiping out the best at welterweight. Remember that Manny beat the best at Flyweight (Sasakul), Featherweight (Barrera), Super Featherweight (Marquez) and Junior Welterweight (Hatton). That is a major accomplishment.
