Yes. And we are located in the greatest concentration of fresh water in the world: the Great Lakes. The only freshwater island comparable in size in the entire world is am inhospitable jungle bog of similar size in the Amazon Delta in Brazil. Truly Manitoulin is a unique location, made even more so by its dramatic landscape as part of the Niagara Escarpment.
