Is man just animal made with self-awareness?
Man is an animal. No one made man. Man happened. Like lots of other things happen. Man is self-aware or claims to be but since we have not perfected the art of communicating effectively with other animals we cannot know if animals are self-aware or hindered as man is by the notion they are self-aware all whilst doing some pointedly unselfaware things (see destroying the planet, each other and lots of other animals). In other words man claims to be self-aware but has yet to behave accordingly. Man has guilt but that is not the same thing as being self-aware.
