Is male penetration women oppression?
I love reading answers from women who describe themselves as feminists but claim they do not support the views of the women who shape feminism. One of the answerers was right in that this idea emerged from Andrea Dworkin – “Intercourse is the pure, sterile, formal expression of men’s contempt for women” Andrea Dworkin (1987) http://faculty.uccb.ns.ca/sstewart/sexlo… To me this just smacks of a hatred for your own sexuality, but that’s my own opinion, penetration is what happens when you have sex, sex is about reciprocating love for your partner; not showing contempt for them – ask yourself how long a selfish lover would last if he were with you? Feminists need to get over this idea that everything in the world conspires against them and get in with life. Yes, women were denied the vote, but so were men who did not hold title and lands. The patriarchal idea is something I take particular exception to. He
