Is making my own eyeglass lenses practical?
yes, you can get finished lens(ground to your Rx by a lab, most optical stores also order them through labs) and cut it into the frame you chosen, all you need is to make sure is the fitting of the lenses and the optical centers are in line with your puiples but you need to find someone willing to supplie you the lenses, rightnow it is probabaly very hard to find, but we are in the process of setting up DIY Optical, so you can get finished lenses and technical help.
