Is Magnetic Therapy recognized?
Throughout the world, many scientific investigations have and are being conducted continuously to determine the effect of magnetic fields on biology. One can go to Pub Med or Medline or one of the various other web sites. Here in the US, the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) under the National Institutes of Health under the Public Health Service in the Department of Health and Human Services classifies magnetic therapy as a form of Energy Medicine and states Static magnets have been used for centuries in efforts to relieve pain. Numerous anecdotal reports have indicated that individuals have experienced significant, and at times dramatic, relief of pain after the application of static magnets over a painful area.
