Is macbook air worth it?
Are you serious? Hell no. Basically Jobs woke up one morning, talked to the head of R&D and said, “I want you to make the thinnest notebook. Sacrifice anything you have to to achieve extreme thinness. I’ll give you 5 years.” Obviously he wasn’t thinking, because he pretty much sacrificed everything for nothing and that’s about it. What do you get from the Air? You can fit it into a manilla envelope. and that’s it… Basically all this computer is is a parasite to your other Mac. Think about it. No optical drive, so if you want to watch a DVD movie, you gotta stick it into your desktop and stream it through your wireless network. Well if you’re already putting it into your desktop, what’s the point of watching it on the AIR!?!??!!?! Or buy the optional $100 DVD player. No logic whatsoever. And if you don’t have another desktop or you don’t want to buy the optional DVD player, you can rent the movie from iTunes for 3 days. Seriously? and they’re saying Microsoft is stupid?! Anyway, back
