Is maca powder available in a red color?
#4- Maca Magic Answer: We use red, purple, as well as yellow maca roots in our processing. However, none of the maca will have a red color to the powder because only the skin is red. The insides of the roots are always white and yellow. All the raw food companies that sell organic Maca, sell this slightly toasted version, but they consider it raw. We do not. We have, over 12 years, developed a special process for creating our “Truly Raw” Maca, which is not heated at all.
