Is mac better than windows 7?
Windows 7 pretty much closed the gap. Mac (OS) is *not* more stable than Windows 7. …unless you do something to break Windows 7, like muck around in the registry or install a bunch of bloat-ware. I’ve been running Windows 7 for over a year now (since the beta came out) and have had no problems at all leaving my computer running for weeks at a time, only restarting when I update (which I sometimes forget to do for…weeks at a time). And on the subject of updates: – You can turn off automatic updates, so they aren’t downloading and installing at random, like when you are trying to level in your favorite game (probably the main reason people get so annoyed by them). (of course you’ll have to check manually every now and then, but if you’re forgetful, you can leave yourself a sticky note to remind you) – You can schedule them so that they install when *you’d* like them to. – or, you can leave them on and automatic so that your computer stays up to date and therefor as secure as possible
