Is Lynnwood’s video used for police surveillance or investigations?
We do not record video for the purpose of police surveillance or investigations. The Lynnwood Police and Fire Department’s staff do have access to the video system during a bona fide public safety event. At that time, Public Safety staff may select, pan-tilt and zoom the cameras. However, cameras are not continuously being monitored by staff at the City of Lynnwood and road users should not assume that assistance will be deployed should an emergency occur in view of a camera. The City of Lynnwood is not responsible for activities portrayed within the images.
