Is lung cancer a mans disease?
No. While lung cancer appears in both men and women, it is reaching epidemic proportions among women. It kills more women than any other type of cancer. In fact, lung cancer accounts for 1 of 4 cancer deaths among women, killing more women each year than breast, uterine and ovarian cancers combined. Sadly, the rate of lung cancer among women has risen 60% since 1990.
