Is Lulubelle potty trained?
Yes, crate training was effective and she was potty trained within 2 weeks. She has not had a “potty accident” indoors since then. Quick Tip on how we potty trained Lulubelle. It worked for us (although it may not work for you; this is just our unprofessional opinion): As a puppy, anytime she was unsupervised, she would be in her crate (very short periods of time). The moment she came out of her crate, we would take her to the designated potty location. No exceptions. If we were playing with her, every 1/2 hour-45 minutes, we would take her to her potty location, also after eating and napping. Chihuahuas are bright — she caught on pretty quickly where she was supposed to go potty. Mom is creating snow-globes for the Christmas holiday season.
