Is LUKoil Licence Crackdown Merely a Ploy in Russias Grand Strategy?
Russia’s environmental watchdog agency has called on the Federal Tax Service (FTS) to check that the correct taxes and fees on all of LUKoil’s 398 licences in Russia are in order, but the shift in Rosprirodnadzor’s focus in monitoring licence agreements from IOCs to Russian firms looks a bit suspicious.
