Is Louis Leterrier the frontrunner to helm James Cameron’s FANTASTIC VOYAGE?
Deadline sagely notes that the next “big” directing project is helming James Cameron’s FANTASTIC VOYAGE remake. Cameron has long been on-board as producer, with a first script from Shane Salerno seeing a “quick polish” from Laeta Kalogridis (rewriting news that broke just this week). But who is going to head up the picture? FANTASTIC VOYAGE has previously seen filmmakers Tarsem and Paul Greengrass attached to it, and the outlet is also reporting that a varied list of directors, including Darren Aronofsky, Timur Bekmambetov, Jonathan Mostow, and Louis Leterrier have met with Cameron over the past few months.
