Is Lloyd Pro Group similar to a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) or an Employee Leasing Firm?
While there are some similarities between our services and those of a high-end PEO, the differences are more important. First, Lloyd Pro Group does not require a “co-employment” relationship, which is the basis of the PEO model. Unlike a PEO, we file our clients’ payroll taxes under their own FEIN, not under Lloyd Pro Group’s. Employee Benefits and Workers’ Compensation are placed on behalf of each individual client individually as opposed to being merged into one large group in the PEO model. This allows for maximum flexibility in plan design.
