Is Lloyd Loom suitable for outdoors?
No, traditional Lloyd Loom material is made from twisted paper and wire and we believe it to be inherently unsuitable for outdoor use. We do produce a range of Outdoor furniture, highly durable to any weather and made from a synthetic weave built on aluminum frames. Like the indoor weave, the vertical strands contain a galvanized wire inserted by hand, sealed within the synthetic strand. This handwoven furniture uses REHAU HDPE weaving materials which are UV-resistant, chemical resistant, colorfast, and offer high tensil strength. Far more durable that conventional synthetic fibres, our new outdoor material is suitable for use indoors and out – visit our outdoor section.
