Is living inexpensive in Mexico?
This question is not easy to answer. The costs of living in Mexico depend very much on you personally. In general you can say that the basic necessities are cheaper if you buy them in normal supermarkets or on the market where the Mexicans are buying as well. Eating out is available from 10 Euros for 4 people up to more than a 100 Euros it depends on you which restaurant you choose. The best answer to this question is: if you live your life Mexican Style, your life will be a lot less expensive than in Europe or the USA. If you insist of living your life in a secluded resort, amongst other foreigners and buy only the imported goods you know from back home, you will end up with the same living costs than back home.
