Is Living By Chemistry rigorous enough for honors chemistry students?
Living By Chemistry has been used successfully in all levels of chemistry courses, from introductory to honors. Because the curriculum is flexible, teachers can adjust pacing to match the needs of each individual class. For an honors class, the expectations can be increased. Some lessons could be completed as homework, more projects and web research can be assigned and concepts can be pursued to a more sophisticated level. While Living By Chemistry is not designed for an Advanced Placement course, teacher feedback indicates that Living By Chemistry is an excellent Advanced Placement and college chemistry preparation curriculum.
