Lithium bicarbonate, LiHCO3, would be a solid at room temperature, were it not unstable. It will decompose to form lithium carbonate: 2LiHCO3 –> Li2CO3 + CO2 + H2O Lithium carbonate is stable at room temperature and is a solid, as its melting point is over 700C.
