Is linksys safe to use?
You are looking at wireless access points or routers that your computer can see. These may be at public places or you may be looking at your neighbors’ access points. They are free and you can use them if they’re not secured. Linksys is just the brand name of the routers they are using and is the default name of the SSID or identifying name of the router that is set as the default at the factory. I would suggest that poaching on your neighbor’s bandwidth is probably not very neighborly. Public sites as well as neighbor sites can have their security issues so be careful. Don’t logon to your bank account or anything like that.
