Is LimeWire the music program bad?
It is a poorly coded piece of junk that puts security holes all over your computer compromising your system. By its very nature it requires for you to leave your system open to intrusion. Who honestly thinks you can trust a community of filled with thieves? I won’t say they’re all thieves because some people have legitimate file sharing, such as game modders, but a lot of warez and unpaid for music gets thrown around. That said, you got your door open, anyone with a decent level of hacking know-how can rip open your system and wreak havoc. Edit: My best advice is to stop being a cheap turd and go pay for music you want. If you don’t want to give the record companies money, you can buy the cds used, and usually cheaper that way, or you can buy directly from the artist, some let you do that on their sites or at shows/concerts.
