All sides of LifeTime Lumber products are embossed with a natural wood grain that provides a textured finish and provides an excellent non-slip surface. LifeTime Lumber has been tested to the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) F609 for coefficient of friction. Passing all criteria including testing for slippage against dry and wet leather and for dry and wet rubber. To further increase the slip resistance a suitable anti-slip coating may be applied. A small area should be treated first to ensure the anti-slip coating does not adversely affect the colour of the LifeTime Lumber board.
