Is “Life Experience/Education” a legitimate way of earning University Credit?

Yes. Anyone who has made a living in the real world, raised a family and/or run a business knows that experience is a tough but very real way to learn. Universities often teach theory. Life Experience/Education teaches reality. Many Universities try to bring “real world” conditions and examples into the classroom to better prepare their students to “make it” in the real world. Earning a degree at a University is a way of “paying your dues” and it has value. However, it is not the only way. We at the International Theological University recognize that there is indeed a “College of Hard Knocks”. We do not “give” a degree for Life Experience/Education. You “earn” a degree with your Life Experience/Education.
