Is Liberia or, say the government, in line with what Nigeria is thinking?
Our government is getting the feelings that the government of president Sirleaf is taking Liberia to a new dimension, taking Liberia to new places. She is fully committed. She has international goodwill and we believe we should support her to succeed in rebuilding Liberia, in restoring peace and establishing new relations so post-war Liberia will take its rightful place in the comity of nations. Liberia has played a lot of roles in the past, in pursuit of commitment to African issues like decolonization of Africa, formation of African Unity (AU) and even the formation of regional organizations like ECOWAS sub-region. So, these are the things that draw the momentum of this relationship. And this visit itself represents an important landmark at the highest level of interactions between our governments and peoples. What are your reflections of Liberia-Nigeria relations? I can say that things have changed. Liberia-Nigeria relations have not changed from what it used to be. Nigeria even ide
